So a week or so ago, I got a request from a Cthulhu Dark adventure writer to do a playtest + review of their new Cthulhu Dark scenarion: "He Who Laughs Last." As I haven't run it yet, I can't really talk about the actual adventure but what I can say is that I'm looking forward to running a game for some honest to goodness Cthulhu players. I've posted a Request for Players on both yog-sothoth.com and the Adelaide Roleplaying Facebook group and managed to cobble together a five player party.
I've gamed before with two of them (one of which being my husband) but not with the other three so I'm both excited and a little nervous.
Most of my roleplaying history is with players I knew quite well socially. Even the convention game I once raHaving to wear my purple striped hat to the public venue so folks know who I am is a pretty different experience for me and one I'm looking forward to.
I'll let you know how it went sometime next week.
As the scenario author, I am excited to hear how your playtest goes! Please let me know if you have any questions... and post back how it went!
